Labour Day Weekend - Saturday

We decided to go for a day trip to Parry Sound which is about 2 hours North of where we live. It was a beautiful day so we all got in the car and picked our fave tunes for the ride. When we got there we took nice long walks and had our lunch in the shade. Parry Sound is full of beautiful rock formations of the Canadian Shield - it was a swell day!

Mom says she misses that area of Canada! Our grandma grew up near Parry Sound, and mom used to visit her grandad's cottage every summer on Lake Joseph. The rock formations were so pretty, and the water very clear (and COLD!). Mom would like to visit again and rent her own cottage, but is afraid it would be too long of a trip for me. You are lucky to live so close to that place!
